First, tell us your story in an essay of up to 1,500 words. What have you done that deserves attention? Why did you do it? And what did it teach you? The essay must be your own work. AI-generated application text is not permitted and may result in disqualification.
Next, create a five-minute video that brings your achievements and thinking to life. If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to explain your work in a further ten-minute video, followed by a one-to-one interview with one of our experts.
If selected, you’ll be invited—at our expense—to the gala dinner in London in early November 2027, where the three winners will be announced.
You must be available for the assessment process, the one-week placement and the six-month development programme. Coaching takes place online, with sessions designed to work around study or employment; no relocation is required for coaching.
You’ll need to confirm placement availability, identify any accessibility or language support needs, and secure any necessary permission from your employer or academic institution.
The experience will also be documented by a film crew, so participants must be willing to be filmed and interviewed.
